5-DAYS BOHEMIA E4 (27/07/2013)

The 4th day is the last chance to improve one's starting position in the chasing start.

My plan was to avoide big mistakes and to press hard on legs which looks phisicaly demanding.

K1: Miss nearly 1 min. because of unnacurate bearing.
K2: Wrong routechoice, reduced runnability most of it. I should have use the road as the green line indicates.
K3: Up.
K4: Wrong routechoice, bad runnability on the second half of it. I should have use the track as the green line indicates.
K5: Good plan and some luck. Saw the flag from the narrow ride.
K6: Good plan and safe attack point. Won this leg !
K7: Clear and fast.
K8: Changed my plan (green) and followed the track further on. Easy controll from bellow. Between K2 and K8 I lost only 15sec to the leader.
K9: Did not follow my plan but started contouring, lost my contact with the map. Did not regain it before I got the two fenced areas.
K10: Tried to triangulate on the fly but lost som unnecesary altitude.
K11: I knew what to look after. OK.
K12: Top speed and won the leg.

The 2. place had never been closer.

I managed to hold on my position and will start as nr.6 next day.
