5-DAYS BOHEMIA E1 (24/07/2013)

Back in Novy Bor after 31 years, now with my family. Fair races, good maps, great atmosphere. Wish I had map with scale 1:7500 several places.
Challenging startlist in H50.

K1: Easy start, the controll was just below the edge.
K2: The only leg with route-choice alternatives. I considered the valley to be too steep to take the direct route.
K3: Countouring till the bottom of an open area.
K4: OK
K5: Located the right area, stood just above the controll flag without actually seeing it. Lost confidence and checked the small cliffs to the north, loosing more than 1 min.
K6: Did not bother to follow the track.
K7: OK
K8: OK
K9: Somewhat deffensive, but OK.
K10: Easy
K11: No plan, impatient. Checking several cliffs before hitting the rigt one. Loosing 3 min and faling from no.7 to no.12.
K12-finish: OK. Running at the same speed as the overall winner.
